Diversity

Student and professorThe Honors College student body is diverse in every sense -- from the variety of programs in which the students choose to pursue their degrees, to their national and ethnic backgrounds. This variety and diversity make class discussions extraordinarily rich. The close friendships among Honors students are often sparked by a fascination with divergent backgrounds, interests, and expectations. Honors students form a coherent body, unified in its pursuit of academic excellence.

Diversity in the classroom.

Diversity in the Honors College comes in diverse forms! In the fall of 2002 Nicholas Rizopoulos, the Academic Director of the Honors College, conducted a truly international group of Honors College students in a seminar exploring crises in the Cold War. Photographs were taken by an Honors College student.
